I just rec’d a statement from Keystone Collections on unpaid local taxes from 2013-2016. How is it that I was not notified earlier of my oversight? I realize my responsibility for the taxes, but the interest and costs seem unfair.

    • plumsteadtc says:

Mr. Wilson, in Bucks County, the 1% earned income tax is collected and administered by Keystone Collections Group. You must contact them for any questions and concerns.

How do I get the latest copy of School Real Estate Tax Notice?

  3. Donald DeLash says:

I can not find Plumstead Twp local income tax reporting form anywhere. How do I get the simple income tax form?

Good day, I have my taxes escrowed and my mortgage company pays via EFT. How can I validate that my taxes were paid other than bank statement?

    • plumsteadtc says:

Steven, if you want a receipted copy please send the taxpayer copy of the tax bill along with a self addressed stamped envelope (with a note to let me know that you are needing a receipt for payment that your mortgage company is making.) I will return it to you when the payment is received by them.

  5. Alex Zoubenko says:

Every year I get these notices from Keystone about unpaid taxes and every year I have to send them proof that my taxes were paid from escrow. Obviously, Keystone receives no communication about that fact or it’s bad bookkeeping or something else. Every year I have to dig the bank statement and get my bank involved.

Why Keystone is even being used? I have to spend my time that’s not free to do all that work to proof that I am law abiding taxpayer. Why don’t the town and Keystone get their act together, spend their time and do their job properly?

    • plumsteadtc says:

      Alex,

My office collects real estate taxes only. Keystone Collections Group collects and administers the Earned Income Tax (EIT). I do not have oversight nor am affiliated with Keystone in any way as they are an appointed 3rd party company. Keystone is appointed by Bucks County’s Tax Collection Commission as the countywide EIT collector.

my pay stub says “City tax-plumstead”

is this my local taxes? I’ve never seen it called city tax before

    • plumsteadtc says:

This would be earned income tax. They are probably just using city as a general term for all municipal types.

Can you provide more information on the two “Fire” taxes on the tax bill?

The Plumsteadville Volunteer Fire Company is a 100% volunteer fire company that has been serving Plumsted Township and surrounding areas since 1930.

I’m fully supportive of our great fire department, but what are these other fire taxes for?

    • plumsteadtc says:

Stuart, The 2 “fire” taxes on the tax bill, 1.155 for Fire and .4 for Ambulance.

1.155 mils are collected for Fire Companies that serve Plumstead Township. Specifically 1.1 mils is split 50/50 between the Plumsteadville VFC and the Point Pleasant VFC. The additional .055 is given to the Dublin Volunteer Fire Company. This is for firehouse and firehouse equipment purposes.

0.4 mils are collected for the Ambulance services. 85% of these collected mils goes to Point Pleasant EMS and the remaining 15% goes to Central Bucks EMS. This is for Ambulance equipment and service.
